Good news! I have produced another above-average week of NFL Pick selections. Bad news: The Eagles continue to humiliate themselves in every which way possible and there’s no short-term fix to save them. Oh, and they play the Patriots this weekend. Depsite being ravaged by injuries, Tom Brady and the Pats offense should still have no trouble against the pathetic Eagles.
Anyway, as I’ve said multiple times before, I won’t let a terrible Eagles team ruin my enjoyment of NFL Sundays. With three fantasy teams on the verge of clinching a playoff spot, I’m eagerly anticipating the first kickoff at 1 p.m. In fact, I’ll probably make good use of the the Sunday Ticket(which has been subpar TBH on the 360) and watch a handful of other games over the Eagles-Pats game.
And yes, before we get to the Sunday slate, I totally forgot about Thursday night’s game. Having a new Xbox One will distract you sometimes. I probably would’ve taken the Lions though.
Last Week: 10-6
49ers at Bears The Pick: Bears -7 The surprising Bears should pick apart the hapless Niners who are a different team away from home.
Bengals at Browns The Pick: Bengals -9.5 The Browns are feisty at home, but I think Cincy puts the hammer down against Austin Davis, or Johnny Football or whoever the Browns have to play quarterback.
Jaguars at Titans The Pick: Jaguars +2.5 For the second time in two weeks this two titans of the AFC South collide. Also for the second time in two weeks, I wont watch any of it.
Texans at Bills The Pick: Bills -3 The Bills slow down the red-hot Texans to get back on track. The Texans are reminded that Brian Hoyer is their QB.
Ravens at Dolphins The Pick: Ravens +3.5 The decimated Ravens still look like they want to play football. Miami doesn’t.
Seahawks at Vikings The Pick: Seahawks -1.5 Not sure if I trust Teddy Bridewater, especially if Seattle can contain Adrian Peterson.
Cardinals at Rams The Pick: Cardinals -5 The Rams defense is banged up and mediocre. Nick Foles just flat out stinks.
Falcons at Bucs The Pick: Bucs +1 What a brutal drop off the cliff its been for Atlanta this season.
Jets at* Giants The Pick: Giants +2.5 Coming off a loss in a game they should’ve won, the Giants will win a game they should lose, at least according to Vegas. It’s the battle of terrible New York/New Jersey teams at Metlife! I always enjoy watching this two play each other since they share a home field.
Broncos at Chargers The Pick: Broncos -4 All hail Brock Osweiler! (And me for correctly picking Denver to beat the Pats last week.) Personally, I hope we see Peyton Manning again, but it definitely wont be this year in Denver.
Chiefs at Raiders The Pick: Chiefs -3 Big Red keeps his team playing well late in the season. I seem to remember he has a knack for that kind of thing.
Panthers at Saints The Pick: Panthers -7 Cam Newton and Co. can definitely go undefeated in the regular season if they go for it.
Eagles at Patriots: The Pick: Pats -9 Easy.
Colts at Steelers The Pick: Steelers -7 Should be a high-scoring affair. On a side note, I don’t think Mike Tomlin is a very good coach.
Cowboys at Redskins The Pick: Redskins -4 YOUR (definitely not mine) NFC East leading Redskins!
